Welcome to the new year people.
(I know I'm so late I've been on a hiatus trust me it's not what I wanted)
Hope your new year is filled with joy as will the rest of the year.

topman t shirt (my bfs), H&M shorts and scarf, gifted tights and bracelets

So I translated the t-shirts meaning and it said "rare bloom". It's french I suppose,
but when you do other research on this "saignant fleurir" it said bloody and that's it as if it was unfinished. I guess it makes sense since there's flowers on the shirt in a triangle.
Not sure what the triangle signifies. Does anyone care about the beyonce and jay-z baby name?
I'm honestly done with them especially since there was controversy over the body guards kicking other families out of the area where she was and they were just trying to see their new borns.
I also have some news of my own which I will share hopefully soon =)
Anywho I'm going to devour this dinner from my fav spot cafe habanna in the city yummay.

H&M sweater and jeans, Aldos boots and watch, gifted bracelets

my new fav boots from Aldos they're so comfy and warm I cant get enough.

I love over sized sweaters I bought this sweater in a medium (there were no more smalls anyway)
and love all of the extra fabric.
The sleeves are so wide so I cuffed them with gold bracelets that I own.
Luckily I brought the lent roller with me to work
that sweater is no joke I was looking like a polar bear all day at work.
I'm going to enjoy my day off lounging around.

When I saw this 2 toned sweater I told myself " I have to have it". It's sheer on the darker side and soft on the other.

Love this sweater so soft to the touch and has lovely sparkles all over.

Alex and chloe for f21 earrings I loved the shape of them.
Gave them a "tuff girl" feel to them.

NYC during this time of year is just beautiful.

I bought this necklace online at Charlotte Russe.
I've always loved their accessories but I was pretty disappointed this time they didn't really have anything that excited me other than this bow tie necklace.
I thought that I would've been done with all of my shopping by now
but I've been super busy lately and its finals week
and I'm hoping everything turns out great.

I've always wanted this bag from Aldo so after work I managed to snatch the last one.
The patterns and colors on it completely won me over.
Since I'm also half Peruvian I felt like it gave that "Peruvian" feel.
I bought a bag from there with similar patterns.
I also don't really own any big bags this might be my favorite bag purchase thus far.

Lashem Review

I had the lovely opportunity to review some face products from Lashem.
Lashem is a beauty company that sells a bunch of wonderful products especially well of course for your lashes. :) All of these products are not tested on animals which I absolutely love I'm all for that, they're also Paraben free all natural products were used to make these wonderful
products for our beauty.

I was given 4 beauty products to review and received a tote with their brand on it it was too cute.

Double Trouble Mascara.:
The product states that "It adds definition && intense dimension for seductive sultry eyes".

I loved this mascara it didn't clump and it made my lashes look fuller than ever.
It's double sided so on one end it says volumizing && on the other it's for lengthening.
They both did just that I was so pleased with it. Also sometimes mascara makes my eye itchy and this one didn't at all. I never had a problem with it getting clumpy either, it went on smoothly and gave me a nice finish to my eyes. There wasn't anything that I could say that I didn't like about it plus the bottle looks gorgeous. It has sparkle around it too bad it didn't show in the photo.
My little sister loved this mascara so I'm going to purchase her a set for Christmas.

Lash Gel: states
"Experience the difference with our dual-patented lash boosting formula that is sure to condition those beautiful lashes! This lash boosting product works great on short, brittle and weak lashes. When it comes down to beauty we know it’s all about the eyes. Also works great on eyebrows. Irritation free, prostaglandin free and no prescription needed!"

I've used it for about 2 wks once a day. I didn't think it was making any difference to my lashes
except making them look healthy and non dull. Then I did notice at my end of my two week that
my lashes grew a little I was super excited only because I did something so stupid when I was younger and caused them to be short and they never really grew from that
(I originally had long lashes to begin with). The time may vary for some like myself you might not be able to see things right away, I know some people don't like to wait for results
but in time I'm sure you'll come out with great ones. It doesn't irritate you this priduct is just wonderful and a great idea at that.

3 in 1 Bright :

This product states that it "decreases puffiness, reduce the appearance of dark circles, and prevents future damage to the eye area".

I had to say out of all of the products this one was the only one I didn't like. It took a couple of pumps for the substance to come out and then a big amount came out.
This product gives off a nice cooling effect but it then turns warms
and it kind of felt like it was burning me. The area around my eyes turned red kind of making me look like a raccoon. I have sensitive skin so I made my bf try it too because he's not as sensitive as me and he turned a little red but he liked it.
I only used it twice it was just too ruff for me. If your not sensitive as I am the product is perfect for you. I saw changes on my bf's face he had such horrible dark circles and it lightened up a lot.

Picture Perfect:

This product claims to prevent wrinkles and create instant lift and fill in lines.
Also reducing signs of aging, protects && reduce tissue damage due to environmental stress.

I love this product although I don't have any wrinkles, I used it to prevent any fine lines that came my way. I've also been told that we can start using these products at a young age to prevent wrinkles in the near future. You can never be too young :). It has a pump as well and the substance is very soft to the face. I really liked it I've been using it every other day. Makes me look and feel more alive since I've been working such long hours and sleeping extremely late at night it shows a huge difference. I definitely recommend it.

I'm so happy to say that the apartment is coming together well.
I'm so happy about the bedroom and the bookshelf with all of my shoes I now get to look at all of it at once and not scatter around.
Also just got a new job yay me after being unemployed for a little while.
Although I received some horrible news with health problems with certain family members I'm taking things at a time.
These times are hard and with everything going on around the world you have to be appreciative with what you have even tho it may not seem much to you but to the next person it may seem the world.
Always give back even if it's something small.

I'm just so in love with the views that I have from my class room windows at my school's campus. We're right on the beach. It's truly breath taking. My bf decided to do our shoot right here after my classes.
Tomorrow we move into our apartment. Sadly I wont have a computer or internet

Most likely travel back to my parents to use the computer since I do have papers to type.

I'm sure you guys must have heard about the protests on Wall St. I'm thinking about stopping by tomorrow. I had to do hw on a disturbing video we saw in class where cops
were using extreme force to these people mainly women. It really bothered me
I'm an animal activist although I'm not fully vegetarian I do have a heart
maybe political activist is calling my name.

These are just a bunch of stuff I put together with all of my fall fashion finds on my wish list and
favorites.

I lovveee chunky sweaters the warmer the better, also dollman tops or loose fitting tops
you can wear them under sweaters with cardigans or alone.

I'm working on finding the best vintage Chanel piece :)
I'm loving big cuffs they bring a statement to your wardrobe&&
bags, big over sized clutches that pairs with ANY look.

I'm loving the wide pants look.
Loving all of the colors that it's coming in. Also loved trousers for quite sometime now these pants bring chicness to your looks. Maxi skirts is a spring, summer && fall look they look amazing with the vibrant colors fall has.

I have a bunch of chunky scarves but you can
never have too many. They keep you warm especially if you live in such cold regions. You can wrap it around your head or use it as a shawl.

I love the Aztec print although I mean my mom used to dress my twin && I in ridiculous outfits growing up with the print, to her it brought the "Peruvian" in us.
I'm not following the trend I don't really follow trends but I love the look and seen amazing bloggers post amazing looks.

It was my boyfriends birthday yesterday.
We went out to eat at Sushi Samba. I have to say the food is ridiculously amazing.
It is pricey tho for not a lot and I eat a lot.
He decided to get a tattoo of a rose. I love it the detail is to perfection.
I bought him a little cupcake and lit it up and sang him happy birthday.
A perfect end to our perfect night.
Ok on to my outfit I just bought this dress for $5 the other day. It's original price was $27 and the material is super cheap so I don't know why it was $27 to begin with. It's sheer and has a low cut back that I love.
Loving the mustard color for fall.
I have a million essays to start (bleh the school life)

After school the other day my boyfriend and I walked along 86 st in brooklyn because
I wanted to check around.
Little did we know we discovered a new drugstore.
I can't remember the name of it but they had a bunch of things for a bargain.

I picked up these nail polishes.
Essie nail polishes were only $2.99!! (retail for $8)
In Nice is nice, Bungle Jungle, hot coco, pretty edgy, other 2 in Celebrate and a base coat.
The last 2 nail polishes were only $1.99

A pack of makeup remover for $1.99 and a paddle comb that I've been looking for for $1.49
They also sell the brand Pond's for a discounted price as well.
Then I spotted a NYX collection now I could have went all out but my boyfriend so desperately wanted to leave -.- so I only picked up a lipstick in Gem.
It's actually a richy plum color that I already love.

Yes, No? Well I had that moment I just feel so uncomfortable with those shorts since I've gained weight. I do not like so much attention on me && that's all I was getting.

I spent the day with my family for my cousin's birthday.

Spent my day with my bf strolling around bk heights.
It was such a beautiful day. I caught many compliments with my dress & I bought it for $5.
I had to put a belt around it because it was NOT figure flattering at all.
I love misleading people on the items that I wear, it's essentially how you put things together
&& make it look that can make a great look with your personal style of course.
&& I finally got to wear my sandals they're actually comfortable it's hard to find shoes that you can walk in all day.

Sweet delights

So I've been wanting to stop by target for a while now.
The majority of the stuff we bought were
for home. Out of the cosmetics department tho I bought E.L.F bronzer, I can't
wait to try it love anything that can give me a glow. A bronzer usually does that && it comes in 4 different shades.
Also from E.L.F I wanted to try the tinted moisturizer I've heard great things about it so I'll
be trying that && a zit zapper. All were $3 or less. It is said that it helps with redness && breakouts so far so good.

I've seen that they had a new clean && clear face cleanser so I picked up one in pomegranate.
It smells soo yummy makes me want to eat it.
It's been working good on my face so far.
The helly kitty wipes I just had to get because I love H.K
also it fits in most of my bags so they'll come in handy.
The essie color I just love I'm wearing it now. It's in aruba blue.
So pretty && vibrant love it.

So I don't remember if I posted this or not on here but on twitter
I posted about these guys selling MAC on the streets of Brooklyn bay ridge to be exact.
I mean they look legit && my boyfriend was like they probably stole it or whatever. I mean they're not even selling them anymore && the guys were so quick to pack up their stuff.
So I bought the lip glasses from the venomous villain && wonder woman lines.
The venomous villain lip glass is in strange potion && wonder womans is emancipation.
The colors are wonderful but very similar. I mean hey I bought those 2 for $15 talk about a bargain.
How's everyone handling the heat in NY? Tomorrows suppose to be worse
&& I have a doctors appointment -.-.

So I've come to terms with the fact that plans do NOT work

I just bought this dress for $10.
I couldn't get it on for like a half hr. It has buttons straight down the front && I couldn't button it while it was on me. I obviously found another way to put it on. It was worth the struggle
feels so light it's great for such hot days.
&& I love these earrings.

Twists && twirls all around curls

So as I've mentioned on my last post that I tried one of Lauren Conrad's
"Twisted sister"look on her beauty blog.
Mine came out different because I didn't loosen up the twists && my hair is so much shorter than hers. So you can see the HOW TO HERE.

My hair was already curled prior to doing this.

I went to a family bbq that day. It actually gave me this elegant look with my casual
wear for the day. If you girls try it let me know I'd love to see on other types of hair.

So I've mentioned before that us New Yorker's DO NOT have an ULTA
(actually we do but not in NYC). How upsetting. Any who when I did spot one in Miami I almost
caught a heart attack I must have spent a good amount of time && money while I was in there.
I bought my sister && my bf stuff (I bought him a EOS lip balm lol)

The nail polishes I bought.
O.P.I's shattered in black && silver I could
n't find it anywhere in NYC some girl told me to go to queens to get it I'm not traveling over there for nail polish lol. O.P.I's step to the beat of my heart, Essie braziliant, L'oreal's Apple of my eye was on sale for $2.99, China glazes Bogie which was also on sale for $2.99 && so was the china glaze's riveter rouge.

I have this huge addiction with EOS products.
So I bought 2 more lip balms in pepper mint && honey suckle I already have the summer fruit && I bought my boyfriend that one and my sister the lemon drop.
NYX lip stick in Vitamin && bought this eye shadow palette in SHANGRI-LA that I tried out while I was in Miami
&& it looked great definitely fall colors tho.
I feel like I'm missing something's hmmm. I don't know.

I turn 21 tomorrow. How exciting and yet sad that I'm getting older. I don't even know where time has went I feel like everythings happening so fast. Just yesterday I was playing in the mud with the neighbor hood kids && today I'm a young lady ready to take on the real world.

Since I've gone shopping I've been doing a lot of it online since I can't find anything near me.

One of the most things I've been buying lately are nail polishes I have no idea why.
I bought these nail polishes in several locations such as sally's, target, && duane reade.
I can't seem to find O.P.I shattered anywhere but I did find china glaze's crackled still works the same && I love it!

The other day I tried to do my hair like jlo's in her new video, where its all curly &&
big. I thought I had it && then my hair just turned into big curs I think it's
mainly because my curling iron barrel is bigger than what it should be && my hair is too short for it -.- so that's my attempt.

I am a month away for my birthday && if everything is set && stone && goes well
I'll be in Miami to celebrate. My 21st!! wooo actually the original plans were to go to

I've been preparing for this summer I'm ready to throw my over sized knit sweaters, boots, comfy cardigans && all that other good stuff into my attic && bring down all of my spring gear.
These are just a few pieces I've bought the past few weeks.

f21 tank (yellow tag deals! lol) $3.80 && robot necklace.

another yellow tag deal from the men section (yes I do look there as well) it was $5
I had to get it.

urban outfitters shorts && pleated skirt. They were $10 each from the sales rack :D

pay half short shorts I already have an outfit for these bad boys. I'm thinking wedges (brown) && flowy tank.

Talking about wedges I returned my shoes shown here because they looked stained or what not but now that I have seen other ones I'm pretty sure its just the style -.- ughh I think
I'm going to rebuy those babies I really loved them.

DIY floral headbands

So out of boredom I decided to make floral headbands.
I've seen a couple of blogs where you bloggers had them on your head && I always thought they looked beautiful.

So I bought a bunch of flowers from michael's.

I've already had a bunch of stuff from the art's and crafts stores from scrap booking so I didn't need much of anything. I bought a pack of 3 headbands all white && plain.
I took one of them and a ribbon type but it's really sticky on one side so I repeatedly
placed it on each side of the hairband til I completely covered it.

That's the headband done with the flowers.

I also bought Raphia I'm not sure how to spell it, well I've made these two with that.
I'm thinking about selling some. It was completely easy && fun to do.
I'm going to make one for my baby cousin since her birthday is coming up.

My bf gave me a huge balloon && a rose.

They had a special since it was Valentine's Day. The food there was amazing typically puerto rican food. I'm such the sea food person so my whole course contained from something from the sea (I think that's the peruvian in me lol).

I had endud up wearing my scarf because I stained my shirt with one of their sauces I don't know how I managed to do that.

makeup haul

So I put an order to E.L.F cosmetics like 2 wks ago.
Now I've never ordered anything from ELF before I only know about their products because
randomly enough my job sells their lip glosses && nail polishes.
I love the nail polish.
They had a deal where you spend $25 get free shipping =).

So I bought the lip glosses in vixen, flirt, the duo gloss && stain in red carpet, a lip conditioner that I love && a liquid lipstick in ruby slipper that I love.
The lip glosses I'm not too fond of I don't know I've only tried it once && was disappointed but my mind can always change.

The nail polishes were like $1, I bought a blush brush && a new foundation brush. A blush && lip gloss, && received a free gift from them. I so did not expect the body butter (that I love)
to be that big it smells so good I bought mine in milk && honey.
Also I went out to the MAC store or I should say stores because the new collection came out.
SADLY in almost every NYC location I went to the supplies I wanted were completely sold out.

So I bought lipsticks in lovelorn && bombshell.

So I finally went to get my hair done the other day.
It's been a while since I've been to a salon.
I asked for more layers && bangs. =D
I love the massages that I get when I'm there my hair felt so refreshed.

This is my little makeup stationary I share with my twin.
She has that pink makeup kit from walmart I bought a small drawer for mine.
I actually have another silver kit filled with other makeup things because of course it all wouldn't fit && it's crazy because I DO NOT wear a lot of makeup
my makeup constantly looks the same for a natural look.

Speaking of Walmart I went the other day &&
bought me the Eos's lipbalm (the pink circular thing in the photo)
it's organic && I love it mine is in Summer fruit
it has a lovely fruity smell. I'm completely hooked on their products. Oh it was $2.99 on sale at Walgreen's in case you wanted to know.
Moving on I bought this waver for $15 at Walmart I decided to try one out I've never own anyone of them.
I tried it it poofed my hair but in a nice way I didn't add anything to my hair I guess
that's why.*shrugs shoulders* I also need to take time into doing my hair I get so lazy I usually like to just curl it && go it's so easy for me.
&& last but not least
this gel cleanser from Garnier I love.
Thank god I waited on the product I saved $2 at Walmart I love a good bargain.
It comes with a scrubber for the face it's smooth && it's easier to use.
It takes off my makeup && cleans && renews my face. I love it.
I hope to have my sister take photos of me we both feel like we have no time to do anything anymore but we're planning on traveling the country before we head out into the world

5. My twin && I were in the chorus in p.s 22 (the school that will be performing at the academy awards this yr) && had our own solo for graduation.

6. I can't leave my house without at least 1 or 2 rings on ( if not I feel naked)

7. I'm like this complete animal activist. I can't go into a pet store && not feel a certain type of way about it. I let awareness out on the abuse of animals in most places =)

for Christmas I adore them.

I guess I have to get used to them.
Can't wait for the spring weather to come around.
Then we'd get to break out those spring dresses, && lighter clothing.
For now I stick to my layering && cozy looks.

I'm usually the type to not carry as much things on me.
I used to carry a whole bunch of unnecessary things, but I've been using a faux fur
satchel bag from Aldo's. I love it it's my go to when I have trouble choosing a bag for the day.

have my blackberry && i pod.

My makeup bad && sunnies frm f21. Also have to have hand sanitizer. I'm using
cupcakes strawberry from bath && body works.

I'm not using a wallet these days because mine takes up too much room.
So I've put my belongings into my makeup bag I knew it would come quite handy to me =).

Have everything essential to me including my pinkberry card :D
MAC concealer && lip gloss && the secret wonderland lotion which is one of my new fav scents
as of today. It all fits into my bag.

I just recently bought this MAC lipstick in hue a pretty pink color I just love it.
&& a lip gloss from the new line called bubble lounge it kind of looks
like Hue but its more peachy && nudes combined such lovely colors.

My wonderful amazingly adorable dog.

My bf && I went to a shelter in brooklyn.
They had us in a room with dogs && they were all barking and running around in there cages I was a little freaked out I'm not gonna lie.
Then a pitbull's cage had opened behind my boyfriend && I was in shock he casually closed it lol.
Out of all the dogs the one I truly fell in love with was mine. He was so quiet.

He still hasn't barked yet so idk maybe if he has vocal problems or something.
We adopted him && took him that same day I couldn't dread leaving him behind.
The minute he reached to my bf' s place he was so playful despite his healing arm [they say he was hit by a car && left to die :'( ]

He' s already spoiled && my cats are getting used to him little by little.
He' s a miniature pinscher && we've (well my twin) has named him Casio. (like the watch lol )
I'm so glad that I can save his life && another as they now have room for another dog to come in =)

Never rely on anyone chances are they'll disappoint you in the long run &&
all you really did was waste your time.
I m taking matters into my own hands.

Christmas is right around the corner && frankly the 3-4 people I said I had left now turned into 5. I also have a million clothes to give away.
I'm also thinking about selling my clothes on here but that's all in the air right now.
&& don't worry I have sizes for everyone =) even brand new unworn stuff.

Danice striped vest, black tights, mixx for necessary clothing booties, f21 lace top, UO ring && earrings, thrifted bracelet.

Well with that being said I felt like being in the Christmas spirit as I get ready for work.
The colors are bright && not dull && works well with what I have to wear for work anyways.
People should really work with what they already have in their closet you can put many outfits with a one top you so desire to wear or anything for that matter&& accessorize if you wish.

So I took this picture in the summer time. I don't think I showed anyone how I did my milk braids since my hair was so short back then. It actually didn't come out bad at all I was pretty pleased with it.
=)

I wanted to buy another Revlon lip stain since I love it. So I bought Passion a nice fruity pink one.
That is also the Revlon photo ready foundation that is too light on my face but I do mix it with my other foundation from Maybelline && it works wonders.
I bought the Rimmel lipstick in Coral Shimmer && the Revlon in Rosy Nude.
Then since I love scented hand sanitizers I bought 5 for $5 little ones at bath & body works

I love my bebe look at his eyes he scratches himself a lot and his fur comes out && he bleeds omg poor cat but his patch is growing back =D.
I know I've been missing for a while but I shall keep you guys updated with wonderful things.
I'm not sure what I want for Christmas besides a dog but I shall share some things on my next post.

Personally heels hurt my feet. I give kudos to any women that can stand in heels all day long.
I see women at like Aldo's or bakers with some 5 inch heels && I always think "does there feet hurt standing all those hours" I'd probably go to the back room && cry I just wouldn't do it to myself.
Now wedges is a totally different story so comfy I can go all day with them.
Anywho
I stopped by Payless to just "check" around to see if they had some nice shoes
&& little did I know that Fiona one of the newer brands were there && had these cute pumps there.
Sadly I didn't get them but I am gonna go back. Pumps are so hard to find in my size there either really tight or big. I have such small feet that these designers should really consider us people (including big people feet) more often.
Oh I went to Walmart the other day && I bought the photo ready foundation by Revlon && I'm
so mad at myself I bought the wrong color (it looked like my color). It makes my skin look 2 shades lighter making me really pale. How disappointing.
Does anyone have any suggestions maybe a glowing powder?

I just bought this dress on sale for $9.99 originally priced at $33 at necessary clothing.
Competely loved it gave me this greek goddess feel with all the draping.

Drugstore haul

So I've been making stops at my nearby CVS && walgreens before work
&& I bought the clean && clear && st. ive's face scrub.
The clean && clear gives the cooling effect that I love so much. The st. Ive's face scrub has little beads && is a little ruff but it won the award for allure reader's choice && it was only $3.99
so I wanted to try it.

I also bought this lotion at for $1.50 has a light lotion scent very creamy && can be used for your hands face or body.

I bought this a while back it's wet & wild glow.
It really does make your face glow I had bought a different one but they were sold out of it so I tried this one it's more peachier && comes in 4 shades.

Now I needed a foundation so I decided to try maybelline's liquid mousse.
It def. covers up everything for a more natural look mine is sandy beige.
Also the covergirls lash blast waterproof mascara.
It's so hard to take off tho so I had to buy makeup remover I usually don't use any but I needed it badly.

so I bought cvs brand makeup remover its 5 towelettes for $1.50 it works wonders completely taking off my mascara.

my nail collection has grew tremendously.
Those recent nail polishes range from $1-$1.99 && lipgloss for a $1.

&& no drugstore of course my bf bought me my MAC brushes a while back. It's the 218 && 188.
LOVE them.
Oh it's Halloween
I'm going to be a flapper &&I'm heading to the city for the parade hope everyone's safe && enjoy.
oh p.s I just couldn't afford a costume lol so I picked out one of my own dresses

I love layering I don't know why.
Even the summertime I have a billion shirts on or 2 cardi's (although I'm passed my cardi faze)
I have to have a longer shirt tho to cover my butt I don't like short tops at all unless it's a crazy cut off or something. Always been like that.
I did use the chi silk infusion to style my hair it rained a little that day -_-
I desperately need a new curling iron I've been using my broken one for sometime now lol.

I kept my outfit completely simple && comfy since it's been raining a lot in New York.

At urban outfitters yes I was completely exhausted coming from work then doing a little shopping to cheer myself up.

It's so late in the game now my sunflowers want to bloom when it's so cold && rainy out.
I planted them like 4 mos ago if I would've known that it would have taken them this long I certainly would have done it way before summer started.

The new addition to the family Victoria almost 7 mos so beautiful && she doesn't CRY!

My dad called me "aunt jemima" due to the scarf on my head.
I actually got my permit last week so exciting because I'm so lazy so if it
wasn't for my bf I wouldn't have gone to the DMV or would I?
Well I took my photo with the scarf on my head. I didn't think anything of it because
I don't know anything about driving or what not so I thought I was going to fail.
Little did I know I didn't.
Any who I went to visit my bf spent the lovely day with him.
I try to make myself look older I mean I look like a baby.
I'll be 21 yrs old next yr && I need people to take me seriously.
I don't wear a lot of makeup && I live on S.I people don't ever wear heels or nothing.
I like to step out the box Flats are comfy but sometimes I just can't stand them.
I like to seem taller anyways =).
